With Hungary – the first priority is still non-GMO food. Hungary is the only country in the world that explicitly states GMO-free foods in its Constitution. Since 2006 Hungary has developed GMO-free strategy and this strategy has not been changed. According to article 20 of the country’s Constitution, all products circulating in Hungary are free of GMOs, for both from animals and plants.
