Christmas is the biggest Hungarian family holiday. On 24 December Christmas trees are decorated and beautifully wrapped presents are placed under the tree. On this day, family members from far away also come home to celebrate together. Photos are taken in front of the Christmas tree. Everyone is dressed in festive clothes. And menu for Christmas Eve dinner is always generous, with several traditional dishes.
