Vietnam – Hungary has 72 years of bilateral cooperation in various fields from defending and building the country, culture, society and commercial relationship. Recently, Hungary has supported Vietnam in negotiating and signing the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the European Union (EVFTA) and ratifying the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA). In early 2021, the Hungarian delegation had an official visit to Vietnam, opening promises of strong cooperation in various fields, especially in developing trade relations. With strict regulations on quality, experience and creativity, Hungary has got its place even in difficult markets such as Europe or Japan. Hungarian enterprises have been introducing their products such as high-tech products and food products, to the Vietnamese market.
